The Dcisive Dashboard provides a centralized, real-time view of your organization’s file activity and storage trends. It presents key reporting measures on a single screen, enabling teams to track usage, growth, and engagement with precision.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is designed to surface high-impact metrics across your Dcisive environment. Users can interact with a timeframe selector to view performance over different periods:

  • Now

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

  • Last 3 Months

  • Last 12 Months

All metrics dynamically adjust based on the selected timeframe.


Key Reporting Measures

The dashboard includes the following insights:

Line Charts

  1. Storage Added (TB)
    Tracks the total amount of data added to Dcisive, measured in terabytes.

  2. Files Added (Count)
    Displays the number of individual files ingested into the platform.

  3. Total Data Searches
    Captures how often users have performed search operations.

  4. Total File Views (Detailed)
    Measures the number of times users have opened and interacted with individual files.

  5. Total File Impressions
    Counts all file views, including when files are listed in search results or previews, even if not opened in detail.


Bar Charts

These offer breakdowns to understand storage contributions by source, type, and category:

  1. Storage Added by Source Location
    Visualizes where data is coming from—e.g., SharePoint, Amazon S3, Google Drive.

  2. Storage Added by Type
    Categorizes stored data into Images, Videos, Documents, and Other formats.

  3. Storage Added by Category
    Displays data volumes segmented by business-defined categories (e.g., Invoices, Engineering Drawings, Contracts).


Using the Dashboard

  • Use the timeframe selector to zoom in on short-term trends or monitor long-term patterns.

  • Hover over chart points or bars to see exact values and compare across time periods or segments.
